#Kjúb 02: Dogma Theatre: Communal

The theatrical production Communal is a sequence of micro-stories of people who have decided to enter the stage of public life.
The actions of the characters appear outwardly open and sincere, but are gradually unmasked as a manipulative game with the emotions and expectations of the audience. Staged patterns of behaviour become the basis for creating an actor’s approach to staging that blends the natural with the acted, the submissive with the dominant. The story is banal, and the emphasis is on the character of the spectator, who is a direct part of a theatrical play on faith, self-sacrifice and collective happiness
