From the end of 2022, the Lúč Club will also participate in the dramaturgy of the new cultural and creative centre in Trenčín – Družba Drama Studio. It is a unique space of theatre, studio and studio type, the only one of its kind in Trenčín. We want to use the funds from your 2% donation for directing (1%) and for the creation of a programme for children and adults (1%).

– submit (bring or mail) to the local taxing authority by April 30. Declaration and Receipt for payment of tax.
Employee asks the employer to issue a Tax Payment Certificate for declaration purposes (at the same time as asking the employer to carry out the annual tax assessment). He/she shall ascertain the date of payment of tax from the tax payment certificate, calculate 2% of the tax paid and enter the amount up to a maximum of 2% in the Declaration (instructions for completing the declaration can be found in here).

A few words about us
We suppose that we do not need to introduce you to the Beam Club. This cult cultural space has been a part of Trencin and Slovakia since 1973. We are fortunate to be part of its history and to have been able to run Klub Lúč since 2005. But besides our good fortune, we see it as an obligation to continue to keep Klub Lúč as Klub Lúč. Thanks to us, it has been given a new logo and a new title – “Open Cultural Space (OCS)”. It was our commitment to continue the activities of Club Lúč and to keep this cult space on the imaginary map of cultural events not only in the city of Trenčín. The Lúč Club has experienced many milestones in its history, generations of Trenčín citizens have come here and know it in various forms, as a pleasant place to meet friends, to make new friends, but always connected with some form of cultural event. The Lúč Club has hosted countless performers in the field of music, theatre, performance, etc. from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Europe, as well as from countries across all oceans. Since 2005, we have organised 1550 concerts and music events, 600 theatre performances, 250 lectures and discussions and 200 multi-genre events. Among other things, since 2002 we have been organising the popular Children’s Theatre Club, since 2005 an international festival of one-actor theatre Alone on the Stage, we are members of a nationwide network of independent cultural centres called Antenna as one of its founding members.
In 2023 the club was forced to look for its new home after 50 years, which it found in the former House of Shoes in the centre of Trenčín on Mierovo Square. With the help of a successful campaign on Startlab, your help and the help of the City of Trenčín, we managed to renovate the business premises and transform them into a club, or a public space – an independent cultural centre.
But our journey does not end here. On the contrary, we still have work to do!
In addition, from the end of 2022 Lúč Club will also participate in the dramaturgy of the new cultural and creative centre in Trenčín – Družba Drama Studio. And it is for this space that we want to spend the funds raised from your donated 2%. THANK YOU
