Jamadan
Jamadan is a diverse drumming ensemble that plays traditional music of West Africa.
Since 2004, they have been bringing the audience energetic dance music full of drums and rhythms with original arrangements and a stage show.
The ensemble will play the drumming music of Guinea and Mali in a separate concert at Club Lúč. The band play a variety of drums and percussion, sing African songs and perform African women’s dance and mask dance. They have studied this music directly in Africa (Guinea).
Before the concert there will be a 2-hour drumming workshop, for which it is necessary to register at patrik(at)klubluc.sk. The price of the workshop is 8€.
Based on the new Covid automatonvalid from 12.8.2021, the Beam Club will operate in OTP mode (vaccinated, tested, after passing COVID-19). This means that only spectators who belong to the OTP group (vaccinated, tested, having overcome COVID-19) will be allowed to attend events organized at Club Beam and we will require confirmation of vaccination, testing or having overcome COVID-19.
