Ali ibn Rachid + Lotta
Concert of the legendary band ALI IBN RACHID, on the occasion of the release of the new album “Burgr & Štrpka” (Vlna rec. 2020). The album is the result of a creative collaboration and dialogue with poet, lyricist and now living legend Ivan Štrpka. The band consists of Ľubo Burgr, Daniel Hurtuk and Dalibor Burgr. In addition to the new album, they will also play older hits.

LOTTA, by her own name Dagmar Mišíková, is a talented singer, composer and lyricist who regularly complements the work of the successful Slovak band Fallgrapp with her poetic lyrics. In her work, she naturally mixes experimentation with melodic chants and breaks the fixed song structure. In the past, she has collaborated with the exceptional French drummer Alexis Bossard, a loyal musical ally of the British musician Benjamin Clementin. Her name is also associated with the experienced Slovak musician Allan Vilhan of the Likvid project, which has established itself on the London scene. For the recording of her current EP, Seafarer, she collaborated with multi-instrumentalist Dalibor Kocián, artistic name STROON, who is also the music producer of this project. John Klukas, an American photographer and sculptor, produced the music video for the pilot single from this EP, titled Léonard.
Based on the new Covid automaton valid from 12.8.2021, the Beam Club will operate in OTP mode (vaccinated, tested, after passing COVID-19).
