Ventolin (David Doubek). Producer, musician and performer. Ventolin is primarily a live upbeat electronic project (Live PA), combining elements of electro, early acid house, punk and techno. Ventolin uses different boxes, effects and live with them to create his music. This performance emphasizes energy and successfully overcomes the detachment that every electronic live show struggles with. Ventolin also works with the visual side, using lighting and video, collaborating with visual artists Jan Košátek (BabyPy) and Jiří Havlíček (Black Ace). Since 2007 he has played around a hundred concerts in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, performed at events and festivals such as Wilsonic, Summer of Love, Bohemian Like You, Sperm Festival, Itch My Hahaha, Bulva Fabula, Famufest, Shotgun and alongside bands and projects such as The Presets, Moderat, Krazy Baldhead, Modeselector, Dva, Midilidi, Tujiko Noriko, Deadbeat, Kazety, etc. In 2009 he released the EP Jitters (Mikinikill), which was followed by his debut LP Totem in 2012. Another EP titled Playbour saw the light of day in 2015. In the same year, a film about Ventolin was made by students of FAMU in Prague. documentary. As a composer and guitarist he is active in the band Kazety.
