Movie Ray: Fanfare, please! (France, 2024)

This touching comedy, presented at Cannes, tells the story of two brothers who find their way to each other through a shared passion. Thibaut is an internationally renowned conductor from a prominent family. When, under extraordinary circumstances, he discovers that he has been adopted, he also learns of the existence of his younger brother Jimmy. He lives in a small town in the north of France, works in the school canteen and plays trombone in the local orchestra. Thibaut soon recognizes Jimmy’s exceptional talent and decides to make amends.
