MARKETA LISÁ (CZ)

Czech artist and musician Markéta Lisá, also known from her band MIDI LIDI or bedroom-pop project kutya, created a new audiovisual performance during her residency in A4, in which electronic and acoustic instruments are gently intertwined with vocals. In between narrative and song, the indeterminate characters of the story switch roles and lead the listeners between notes and words in flashes of summer fire.

“Come with me to where the sky is high and blue and where the clouds white faster than where else they float. Can you hear the song in the pine trees? Do you hear the song of the far-off sky?
