#Kjúb 17: Theatrical Bedtime Story: The Golden Pig
A special Christmas performance with the popular devil Kolofon. For Kolofon it will be the first Christmas up on earth. He’s looking forward to all the goodies he’s been hearing about all year: gingerbread cookies, vanilla rolls, and parlor cakes! First thing on Christmas Eve morning he plans to get started on the gingerbread, but his friends Janko and Marienka stop him. They have experience with gingerbread and know that even on Christmas they don’t need to be eaten first thing in the morning. They decide not to eat anything until the evening so that they can finally see the mythical golden pig. And, of course, they talk the devil, Colophon, into it. It’s a huge challenge for him again, and he doesn’t know if he’ll be able to pass this difficult test, especially when his wife, Ježibabka, has been boiling and baking fragrant Christmas delicacies since early in the morning. Instead of trick-or-treating, Colophon has to help out, bringing the tree from the forest, catching the carp and getting everything ready for Christmas Eve. Will Kolofón manage to hold out until the very evening and will he also see the fairy-tale golden pig? The show premiered at Christmas 2018. It is one of the popular performances in the run up to Christmas. It has already been a success in the KC Hviezdne noci in Bytča, in the KC Modra or in the KC Cooltajner in Považská Bystrica.
