ADAM VOLT (SK)

Adam Volt Dekan is a Slovak multi-instrumentalist, sound-designer, performer and artist based in Vienna. He founded the music project Nourish My Fame, which with its debut album Nauta (2005), combining elements of trip-hop and ambient, received positive critical acclaim and was featured at several domestic and international festivals. In 2012, he was at the birth of the experimental project Triple Sun, with whom he released the album Overture (2015) under the Forum Absurdum label. He has worked in several musical formations, participated in several vocal and electronic albums, numerous film projects and theatre performances. At several editions of the Pohoda festival, he presented himself as a musician, but also as a curator and dramaturge of the Stage Visegrad Club program, which offered contemporary electronic music, house and techno from the V4 countries. In the projects in which he participated as a music producer and sound-designer, one can feel an unconventional approach to the design and character of sound, a special conception of contemporary electronic music, experimental elements, classical music and exotic musical genres. As a solo musician, he performs under the name Adam Volt, and his eclectic compositions bring an ever-changing and alternative perspective on composition and artistic execution.
