Among other things, they discovered that, besides their music, they also shared a hometown hump &#8211; they were born in the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia, just a few miles apart. They began making music together after moving to New York City, where Markham began playing with Ancient Sky at the same time. Timber Rattle&#8217;s first album was called ,,Nature in Darkness&#8221; and was released in 2010. A year later, Parks moved back to the West Coast and recorded the EP ,,The Embers Burn In Code&#8221;. In 2013 came what is arguably his best record yet, titled ,,Phantoms of Place&#8221;.
